CLA CPLS: Veronica Herrero (CLA'18) & Meridel Trimble (CLA'20)

Through the monthly Civic Practitioner Leadership Series (CPLS), current fellows and CLA alumni learn from leading civic practitioners in Chicago. These sessions are an opportunity to explore the practical applications of the themes of leadership established in the classroom. The goal is to create an intimate environment in which our fellows can engage with civic practitioners who are working through deeply complex issues in Chicago. The series is meant to be an intimate “behind the scenes” look at how civic leadership plays out in practice and how institutional reform is embraced and challenged within the city of Chicago and Cook County.
